Meeting the deadlines
October 31, 2009Maybe some of you would wonder why i seldom post a blog here. Well, to tell you honestly i have no time for this thing but since some experts says that busy people should have time for themselves for reflection and one good outlet where in they could have time for reflection and able to express their feelings is through blogging. So i want to grab this oppotunity having an extra time to write somethig about what i feel right now. Well guys all i want to say right now is that i am little bit excited because next week i will be in Roxas City again for a couple of days and i could visit again my relatives who lives there in Roxas and also i could smell again the seabreeze at beautiful beach of Roxas City. I am little bit anxious about the deadlines of my paperworks and the unimplemented activities. I wish i could relax next week without thinking about the backlogs that i ‘m going to face by the time a return to the office after having good time in Roxas. And just to let you know what are my backlogs here it is below:
1. Progress Report of seventy four (74) children - deadline Oct. 31, 2009 Status: I haven’t started it yet even a single one.
2. Benefit tracking - i need to encode services availed by the 476 beneficiaries - deadline Everymonth Status: As of now i have encoded only 30%.
3. Back-up of sofware files - this is usually done every end of the month. Status : So far the last time i made a back-up files was last July 2009 so it seems that it almost 3 months i haven’t done any backups
4. Project Quota - as for BF requirements i have to a quota to enroll 50 new enrollees for sponsorship. Deadline: Last July 2009. Status: Thanks to God i already made 20 narrative reports for 20 new enrolles so that means that i have to make 30 narrative reports.

Masskara Festival
October 21, 2009
Masskara Festival is one of the awaited events that every bacoleno’s has been waiting for. Colorful costume, amazing dance parade, live bands, popular artist and cool variety show this are just the few things you can see and experience during Masskara Festival. But this year i almost missed the experince watching and celebrating the masskara because i was so very busy in my work in fact we had a consultation meetings scheduled during the highlights of masskara. And because of Masskara Festivity it hassen our time in going to our meeting venue for community consultation because of the heavy traffic that it cause. And because of that we were forced to go the the meeting venue by foot and we have no choice because the meeting was already scheduled and we didn’t anticipated that circumstances. So we walked two kilometers from our office to the venu together with the volunteers and my immediate supervisor. I could still remember the feelings that we where like in a dessert walking under the heat of the sun and wer are just lucky enough that there were trees at the side of the roads that served as our sheild. Almost an hour after we reached our destination and just to refresh ourselves we looked for a “changge” where we could drink a very cold softdrinks and luckly we found one just one block away from our meeting venue. Well thank God eventhough we walked kilometers away from our destination still we are thankful that we able to conduct the meetings successfully. And to make ourself feel that we are still part of the masskara pose in every corner of the street just to take photos. In the end i still have a piece memory of Masskara 2009.
