Goind to Mt. Hagnini-e 4 Hours on Foot
November 16, 2010
Despite of the road condition, the floods, the danger that we might get stranded in the mountain, yet we pursued to conduct a home visit to one of our beneficiary at Mt. Hagnini-e whic could only be reached by walking 4 hours on foot at the river just accomplished the child progress reports deadlines. It was very long and tiring journey but very exciting and enjoyable one. After we reached out the top you couldn’t explain the feeling of overwhelming experience and breath taking scenario at the top of the mountain. By the time we are about to go back, it was noon tme already but I was almost run out of water and we are just luckly enough that there were many fruit trees along the trail so we had a chance to get some of the fruits to heal our thirst and hungry stomach. We had Bungon (in Cebuano) or Kabugaw (in Hiligaynon) which serves as an energy drink and galangan and bayabas to fed our stomach.
We have accomplished our mssion, and we are very thankful that we went back to offce safely and with bounty experience and wth extra pack as “pasalubong” for our colleagues and officemates.
